Join the Thoreau Masters (USMS registered club) to get a customized challenging workout, which focuses on endurance, speed and stroke efficiency. Swimming is an excellent cross training alternative where you can burn 400-700 calories without impacting joints and ligaments.

Masters swimming is a motivating and challenging way to get effective swim workouts two times a week and a great way to meet other competitive swimmers. Designed for swimmers of any speed who are comfortable with four competitive strokes, the workout will range from 2500 to 4000 yards in 90 minutes.
