I started my career in 1995 with a degree in massage and physical therapy from the University of Granada in Spain. I moved stateside several years ago and studied at the Elizabeth Grady School of Massage Therapy so I could continue treating people with manual therapy in Boston.
Over the years, I have benefitted from leading an active lifestyle by swimming, biking, and minimalist running and was drawn to massage and physical therapy so I could help others lead healthy, pain-free lives. Since starting this profession I have treated over 10,000 patients, and think physical activity, nutrition, and regular massage therapy are fundamental to good health.
When working with patients, I first attempt to determine the cause of their discomfort and provide not only treatment but also guidance on how to improve their condition. When patients know the cause of their problem, they will become more actively involved in their own healing. Building this therapist-patient partnership is one of the most exciting elements of my work.
Individuals of all ages, abilities, and disabilities can experience the benefit of myofascial release therapy (MFR) .I have extensive experience in MFR treating athletes, those with sedentary jobs, patients with post-operative conditions, individuals with chronic pain, or those with stress or sports injuries.
There is nothing better than seeing a patient who has regained their full range of motion and is able to participate fully in all areas of their life
