Green Ball

Program Description and Benefits:

Players in this stage prepare for the physical demands of covering a full court. Increased tactical development is emphasized including use of angles, spin, depth control and moving the opponent.

Young players develop an understanding of the opponent's strengths and weaknesses and learn to incorporate these tactics in attacking and defending their position.

Physically, we add resistance to balance challenges and increase speed and agility training. Fitness Professionals coach players for 30 minutes during each practice to develop these skills safely. Age-specific stretches are practiced and emphasized to help kids avoid injury.

At weekly match play sessions coaches  identify areas for improvement, players learn self-reliance on the court and negotiate important social situations and build strong relationships with their athlete peers.
